The Citrus County Historical Society and
the Hernando Heritage Council are proud to announce a fantastic, free
children’s program to be held at the Historic Hernando School, 2415 N. Florida Avenue,
Hernando, Florida, 34442 on Saturday, February 15, at 2 p.m.
Trout Fishing in America is a group comprised of musicians Keith Grimwood and Ezra Idlet. Their true talent is in how they connect with audiences of all ages. Keith and Ezra take it as a point of pride that their performances can appeal to everyone, and they often have three or four generations of a family come together to attend a show. Blending the sounds of rock and roll, blues, folk, country, bluegrass, and even a little funk and reggae, this duo knows how to give the audience a good time!
Their children’s program is geared towards ages 4-12, but can truly be enjoyed by all. They stimulate imaginations, improve language skills, and build self-esteem through audience participation, but most importantly, they are just plain fun!
The Citrus County Historical Society is happy to invite families from throughout the area to this free concert, but donations are greatly appreciated. All proceeds benefit the Citrus County Historical Society, Inc. and their efforts to restore the Historic Hernando School. Light refreshments will be provided.
